The Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies held a face-to-face event on April 7, 2021 with approximately 50 current and new students attended.

The event started with a greeting from the Dean of the Graduate School, followed by messages to the students from each of the participating faculty members.

For some of the students, it was their first time to come to campus since last year's classes were mainly offered online.

There were also speeches from students from Africa, Asia, and Europe who shared their own stories and experiences last year at the Graduate School.

After the plenary session, students and their academic supervisors were divided into several classrooms for individual sessions.
