Conducted environmental education activities at Sophia Forest in Karuizawa on November 12 (Sunday)

We conducted another environmental education activities at Sophia Forest in Karuizawa on November 12 (Sunday). Nineteen graduate students and three faculty members joined the activities. In the co-operations with the District Forest Office and the Forest Association in the region, we learned measures to protect forest and arranged wood-made walkways, and observed the nature in the forest. It was also a great opportunity to enjoy autumn leaves in the forest. (This activity is financially supported by the Green Fund provided by the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization.)
