研究

専門は社会学。主に家族、教育、労働の接点を世代間関係の観点から分析する研究を積み重ねてきました。2009年に本研究科に移籍してからは、社会と環境のつなぐ結節点としての家族や地域社会の問題へと研究のスコープを広げています。実は、＜市場＞と＜家族＞の関係は＜市市場＞と＜市自然環境＞との関係と構造がよく似ています。例えば少子化問題。環境に対する企業の社会的責任が問われていますが、次世代も公共財と捉えれば、その育成のために企業は何ができるのかという問いを立てることができます。発展途上国の開発問題やライフスタイルと環境、文化の多様性と生物多様性の関係性など、様々な問題群が考えられます。2015年からは、国連の社会経済局（DESA）やユネスコの研究者と協力して国連の持続可能な開発目標（SDGｓ）を家族の視点から研究するプロジェクトに参加しており、環境研究という文脈で家族と社会のサステナビリティー問題に取り組んでいます。
